This piece lights up!
Known as "open editons" or by their collection name of "Great Lighthouses of the World," these lighthouses are being produced by Harbour Lights for a second time. A little smaller, and usually with a different setting than their previous "limited edtion," these are some of the more popular lighthouses in the United States. Because many "limited editions" of popular lighthouses were produced (and retired) years ago, these "open" editions give new Harbour Lights collectors a chance to purchase some of their favorite lighthouses. Since 2004, Harbour Lights has added the "light-up" feature to all open editions, featuring lit windows in the keeper's house and a flashing or steady lens.
