"Lighthouse Preservation Is Alive & Cooking"
Volume I
A cookbook from:
Cape Annie's Lighthouse and its customers
Beginning in 2003, Cape Annie's Lighthouse began production of a series of cookbooks, each one to benefit a different lighthouse preservation society or lighthouse restoration project. Volume I proceeds will help the Cape Cod Chapter of the American Lighthouse Foundation fund the new $30,000 solar panel at Race Point lighthouse in Provincetown, MA. For each cookbook sold, Cape Annie's Lighthouse will donate $5 directly to Race Point Lighthouse. To order cookbooks, please call us at 508-398-9790, or order directly from our ON-LINE Store Site. The cookbooks are $9.95 each. If you order 1 or 2 cookbooks, the shipping is $2.95 per cookbook. If you order 3 or more cookbooks, the shipping is $2 per cookbook.
FOR VOLUME II.
As soon as we receive 150 recipes, it will be printed. The beneficiary of the Volume II cookbook is yet to be determined.
Other than the satisfaction of helping a worthy cause, you will get to see your favorite recipes in print (and know that all your family and friends will see them too!). You will have your name printed next to each recipe you submit, plus you will be able to reserve as many copies as you'd like for family and friends. Pre-ordering will help us print enough cookbooks, so you don't get shut out! Depending on the number of recipes we receive, we hope to sell each volume in the $10-$12 range.
Although there is no official deadline for Volume II, the earlier you send your recipes, the better placement you get in each chapter that your recipes appear. If you're on the first or second page of the "DESSERTS" section, you can be sure there'll be a lot of customers trying YOUR recipe!
