only 14 dealers nationwide that are allowed to sell this very limited edition of ONLY 550 pieces! Since
each dealer has already been allotted a certain amount, the piece is virtually SOLD OUT! As we
are writing this newsletter, our Duxbury Pier pieces are being "pre-signed" by Bill Younger, and
then being shipped back to us. Even though Bill can't be with us, all of you will receive a
"signed" piece!
We have just
received our "package of prizes" from Harbour Lights for our event raffle. Even though we do
not have a GOLD piece, there are 2 Artist Proofs, plus 6 other great prizes. In addition to

Once the Harbour Lights warehouse runs out of each of these "Open Editions," they may never be available again, so you may want to check out the Great Lighthouses page. . . . . . . . .As mentioned in last month's newsletter, we have offered all remaining Spoontiques lighthouses at 50% OFF on our web site. We do not have any of these lighthouses in stock at Cape Annie's, but we are accepting customer orders online. When we receive enough customer orders to bring in a shipment from Spoontiques, we will then fill the customer orders and ship them out. Many of you who did place orders in April and early May have just received their lighthouses from our first Spoontiques shipment. We already have a few more orders received, working towards our second Spoontiques shipment. As you will see noted on the Spoontiques Pages of our web site, we can only bring in a shipment from Spoontiques as we get enough customer orders to satisfy their minimum shipment requirements. If customer orders do come in a much slower pace, this next shipment from Spoontiques may be our final one, so don't miss out if you are a Spoontiques collector!
. . . . . . . .Last week, Richard Dreyfuss and Bruce Dern were spotted on Cape Cod, filming scenes at the West Barnstable General Store, for their upcoming movie, "The Lightkeepers." This is a great old-fashioned general store, and was also used 3 years ago in the filming of the movie "Chatham," starring David Carradine. If you would like to keep updated on the progress of this movie, you can periodically check the Lightkeepers Movie web site.

. . . . . . . .If you are new to Cape Annie's this year, we've listed our shipping tables below, just to show how much you are saving from last year's shipping charges. In June 2008, we had just raised our shipping charges to cover the skyrocketing UPS rates, due to the $4.25/gallon we were all paying at the pumps a year ago. When the entire economy hit the skids last September, we felt it was more important to give the customer a break, even though it meant we could not cover our own shipping expenses with these rates. We have kept the low rates and free shipping offers for 9 months now, and will continue to do so until things improve for everyone. When things are better, we will have to revert our shipping table back to rates that allow us to cover our shipping costs. For now, though, enjoy the BARGAIN PRICES!
